87th Annual SCGA Amateur Championship – Round Two Results
St. Helena Island, SC - Greeted with a morning sun that beamed over the low tide of the oyster beds, round two has finally come to and end. Round three will begin at 10:30am off 1 and 10 tee.
Staying in contention after his three under first round, Sawyer Mills of Easley carded a five under, 66 to join Jake Carter (Aiken) and William Harwood (Columbia) in the final pairing in round three. Starting his day with back-to-back bogies, Mills would quickly recover with two birdies and an eagle hole-out on the par four 17th hole.
Other notables include Caleb Proveaux (Lexington), Jeremy Grab (Daniel Island) and Logan Sowell (Kershaw), all sitting in the top five heading into the weekend.
