Biershenk Victorious at Holly Tree Country Club Forty Plus Event

Robbie Biershenk of Boiling Springs was victorious at the sixth SCGA 40 Plus Series event of 2023 that was contested on Tuesday, November 14th, 2023 at Holly Tree Country Club, after a round of three under par 69. Biershenk edged out Robert Lutomski who finished solo second after firing a one under par 70.  

 

In the Tournament Net Division, Alfred Pearce (Greer) captured the win with a net score of 70. 

 

In the Senior Gross Division, Chris Bond (Greenville) placed atop the leaderboard after a four under par round of 68. Max Fain (Boiling Springs) finished in second place with an even par round of 72.    

 

In the Senior Net Division, Mark Reuland (Rock Hill) finished at the top with a net score of 72. 

 

Roger Page (Duncan) captured the Super Senior Gross Division with a three under par round of 69. Robin Alley (Columbia) finished in second place with a three over par 75. 

 

In the Super Senior Net Division, Barry Mullinax (Travelers Rest) finished atop the leaderboard with a net score of 75. 

 

The 40 Plus is a series of events conducted for golfers across South Carolina, over the age of 40. The field consisted of 79 players playing Holly Tree Country Club in Simpsonville, SC. This event was the sixth 40 Plus event the SCGA has conducted in 2023. The 40 Plus Finale event will be held on December 3rd and 4th at The Heritage Club in Pawleys Island, SC.
