Downey and Rudolph Crowned Champions of the 31st Senior Four-Ball Championship

NORTH AUGUSTA, SC (March 19, 2024) – Final round results of the 31st SCGA Senior Four-Ball Championship, hosted by River Golf Club in North Augusta, SC on March 19, 2024.

 

Boyd Downey and Griff Rudolph of Hilton Head Island fired two consecutive rounds of eight-under par 63 for an impressive total of 16-under par 126 to secure the trophy at the 31st Annual Senior Four-Ball Championship.

 

Trailing just three shots behind in second place were the team of Dan Sullivan of Columbia and Thomas Kennaday of Aiken who carded a two day gross total of 13-under par 129. Richard Rebholz of Johns Island and Rich Weston of Pawleys Island landed in third place shooting a tournament total of 12-under par.

 

The 2024 SCGA Senior Four Ball Championship is being played on the par 71 – 6,149 yard River Golf Club in North Augusta, SC. The field consists of 53 two-man teams playing Four-Ball format conducted over thirty-six holes. The Senior Four-Ball Championship is one of 22 Major Championships conducted annually by the South Carolina Golf Association.
