Eassy Earns Victory at The Reserve at Lake Keowee Forty Plus Event
Chris Eassy of Simpsonville was victorious at the fourth SCGA 40 Plus Series event of 2022 that was contested on Monday, April 26th, 2022 at The Reserve at Lake Keowee, after a round of three under par 69. Eassy captured the title after a scorecard playoff over Jesse Kinnunen (Taylors), who also fired a 69. Finishing in third place was Adam Walker (Charleston) with a two under par 70.
In the Tournament Net Division, Trey Werner (Simpsonville) captured the win with a net score of 67.
In the Senior Gross Division, Yancey Johnson (Simpsonville) placed atop the leaderboard after a two under par round of 70. Ed Burchfield (Sunset) finished in second after a one under par round of 71.
In the Senior Net Division, Bill White (Piedmont) took the title with a four under par net 68.
Roger Page (Duncan) captured the Super Senior Gross Division by scorecard playoff over Charlie Hall (Bluffton). Both Page and Hall finished with two over par rounds of 74.
In the Super Senior Net Division, Ron Hewitt (Moore) captured the victory with a net total of one over par 73.

The 40 Plus is a series of events conducted for golfers across South Carolina, over the age of 40. The field consisted of 100 players playing The Reserve at Lake Keowee in Sunset, SC. This event was the fourth 40 Plus event the SCGA has conducted in 2022. The next 40 Plus event will be held on September 19th at Rock Hill Country Club in Rock Hill, SC.
