Grumbles Brothers Lead Opening Round of Mid-Am Four-Ball Championship
AWENDAW, SC (Aug. 21, 2021) – First round results of the 27th Annual Mid-Amateur Four-Ball Championship of the South Carolina Golf Association hosted by Bulls Bay Golf Club in Awendaw, SC on Saturday August 21, 2021.

This morning, Bulls Bay Golf Club welcomed 56 teams (112 players) to begin their journey for a chance to claim the 27th Annual Mid-Amateur Four-Ball Championship title.
The team of Marcus Grumbles of Greenville and Shane Grumbles of Taylors finished the day at 11-under par 61 to emerge round one leaders of the SCGA Mid-Am Four-Ball Championship. The team fired 11 total birdies to hold a one-shot lead heading into the final round.
The team of Jordan Sease of Lexington and Brandon Truesdale of Rock Hill posted ten-under par 62 for the round to stand second.
Four teams stand tied for third, each carding opening rounds of nine-under par 63.
The final round of the 27th Annual Mid-Amateur Four-Ball Championship begins tomorrow at 8:00 A.M. off #1 and #10.
