Kyle Davis (Charlotte, NC), Taylor Smith (Atlanta, GA), and Donald Taylor (Columbia, SC) all qualified at the Country Club of Lexington (6,653, Par 72) in Lexington, SC to play in the 2021 US Mid-Amateur Championship. Davis was the qualifier medalist with a round of five under par 67.
Brian Quackenbush (Aiken, SC) is the first alternate and David Denham (Athens, GA) is the second alternate after a two-hole playoff.
76 players started the event playing for three spots and two alternates to participate in the 2021 United States Mid-Amateur Championship that will be conducted at the Sankaty Head Golf Club in Nantucket, Massachusetts on September 25th – September 30th, 2021. The qualifiying round was started/suspended on August 16th (Monday) and was resumed/completed on August 17th (Tuesday).
