SCGA Amateur Qualifying – CCSC Qualifier Rescheduled
As Tropical Storm Elsa currently makes her way into the United States, we are aware that the storm has a high probability of bringing severe thunderstorms and heavy rainfall throughout much of the lowcountry of South Carolina including the Pee Dee on Thursday. After much discussion within the SCGA and the Country Club of South Carolina, we have made the decision to postpone the event on Thursday until Friday (7/9/21). Current wet conditions, player and course safety, along with wanting all players to be able to make travel/work arrangements were all factors in this decision.
Tee times for Friday (7/9/21) will remain as a double tee start at 8:00 AM EST and pairings will remain the same – should any participant not be able to participate, please reply to this email or call the SCGA office (803) 732-9311. We will give a full refund to any participant that is not able to compete on Friday – players that are not able play must let us know by Thursday (7/8/21) by 5:00 PM to receive a full refund. All players will be considered playing in the event unless we are made aware of a withdrawal.
Again, we apologize for any inconvenience but we feel that it’s the best decision for player and course safety. We do want to thank the Country Club of South Carolina for hosting and for accommodating our rescheduled qualifier on Friday.
