Final Match Set at Four-Ball Championship
Sunshine and blue skies greeted the eight teams that teed it up in the Quarterfinals Saturday morning in the 54th edition of the SCGA Four-Ball Championship being contested at Musgrove Mill Golf Club in Clinton, SC.
In the Quarterfinal matches, Jay McAllister and Michael Sims defeated the team of Jared Crane and Matt Mead by a dominant 6 & 4 victory. The brother duo of Austin Reeves and Crawford Reeves would win their match 4 & 3 over Zander Briggs and Lleyton Renner. Brent Delahoussaye and Charles Warren went on to defeat Zach Herold and Sam Jackson with a 1-Up victory. The last match of the quarterfinals was won by Zack Siefert and Cabrick Waters with a 4 & 3 victory over Zach Adams. Adams provided a valiant effort as his partner, Jack Wofford, was unable to compete in the quarterfinals due to high school graduation.
In the afternoon Semifinal matches, Jay McAllister and Michael Sims would go on to defeat Austin Reeves and Crawford Reeves with a 2 & 1 victory. Brent Delahoussaye and Charles Warren defeated the team of Zack Siefert and Cabrick Waters with a decisive 6 & 5 win.
The final match featuring McAllister and Sims versus Delahoussaye and Warren will begin Sunday morning at 8:00 am off of the first tee.

The 2021 SCGA Four-Ball Championship is one of 21 major championships conducted by the South Carolina Golf Association. The event is being played on the 6,779 yard, par 72 golf course at Musgrove Mill Golf Club in Clinton, South Carolina.
The SCGA, founded in 1929, is the governing body for amateur golf in South Carolina. As a non-profit organization, the SCGA’s purpose is to promote, preserve and serve the game of golf. Made up of more than 270 member clubs and more than 50,000 individual members, the SCGA annually conducts 21 SCGA statewide championships, 59 one-day contests, eight USGA qualifiers, seven 40-plus tournaments and six special events. Other Member services offered include GHIN – the USGA Handicap Computation System, Golf Genius Tournament Management Software System and support, Rules of Golf and Handicap education, USGA Course/Slope Ratings and Course measuring, Amateur Status information, the Palmetto Golfer Magazine and the SC Golf Hall of Fame. The SCGA also houses the offices of the SC Junior Golf Foundation and SC Junior Golf Association in a combined effort to support junior golf and grow the game’s initiatives.
