Warren and Delahoussaye Take Medalist Honors at SCGA Four-Ball Championship
Charles Warren (Greenville) and Brent Delahoussaye (Greenville) captured Medalist honors shooting a second round of 66 and a two-day total of thirteen under par 131. Finishing in second in the stroke-play portion of the SCGA Four-Ball Championship was the team of Walt Todd, Jr. (Greenville) and Brandon Truesdale (Rock Hill) after a two-day total of eleven under par 133.
Sixty teams started the Stroke Play portion of the event vying for the 31 spots that qualify for Match Play. After two days of stroke play, teams that finished at even par of better made the cut to qualify for Match Play. Defending Champions, Kyle Milner (Spartanburg) and Bryan Kelley (Spartanburg) will be the number one seed by virtue of their victory in 2019 as the 2020 event was cancelled due to COVID-19.
The Match Play portion of the event will begin on Friday at 8:00 a.m. on #1 and #10 tees.

The 2021 SCGA Four-Ball Championship is one of 21 major championships conducted by the South Carolina Golf Association. The event is being played on the 6,779 yard, par 72 golf course at Musgrove Mill Golf Club in Clinton, South Carolina.
The SCGA, founded in 1929, is the governing body for amateur golf in South Carolina. As a non-profit organization, the SCGA’s purpose is to promote, preserve and serve the game of golf. Made up of more than 270 member clubs and more than 50,000 individual members, the SCGA annually conducts 21 SCGA statewide championships, 59 one-day contests, eight USGA qualifiers, seven 40-plus tournaments and six special events. Other Member services offered include GHIN – the USGA Handicap Computation System, Golf Genius Tournament Management Software System and support, Rules of Golf and Handicap education, USGA Course/Slope Ratings and Course measuring, Amateur Status information, the Palmetto Golfer Magazine and the SC Golf Hall of Fame. The SCGA also houses the offices of the SC Junior Golf Foundation and SC Junior Golf Association in a combined effort to support junior golf and grow the game’s initiatives.
