Twenty players shot a score of three over par 74 or better at Coosaw Creek Country Club (6,584 yards, Par 71, 72.3/137) in North Charleston, SC to qualify for the 89th SCGA Amateur Championship.
Keegan Vaugh (Myrtle Beach) was the qualifier medalist after a round of five under par 66.
The next SCGA Amateur Qualifying Event will take place on July 9th at The Spur at Northwoods in Columbia, SC.
The Amateur Championship will be played August 6-9, 2020 at Columbia Country Club in Blythewood, SC.

The SCGA, founded in 1929, is the governing body for amateur golf in South Carolina. As a non-profit organization, the SCGA’s purpose is to promote, preserve and serve the game of golf.
