RJ Keur, Andrew Orischak, Jordan Garner, and Jonathan Brightwell have all qualified at Colleton River Club’s Dye Course (7,357 yards, Par 72) in Bluffton, SC to play in the 119th US Amateur Championship. Brightwell needed a one hole playoff to advance to the Championship. RJ Keur was the qualifying medalist with a two day total of seven under par 137. Parker Gillam is the first alternate and Nathan Barbieri is the second alternate.
117 players started the event playing for four spots and two alternates to participate in the 2019 United States Amateur Championship that will be conducted at Pinehurst Resort & Country Club (No. 2 & No. 4) in Pinehurst, NC on August 12-18, 2019. A total of 51 players (low 40% of the starting field) made the cut for the final round of qualifying.
