Jonathan Griz (Hilton Head Island, SC), Jacob Bridgeman (Inman, SC), and Nick Willis (Cowpens, SC) have qualified at the Country Club of South Carolina (6,687 yards, Par 72) in Florence, SC to advance to the 2018 US Junior Amateur Championship. All three qualifiers earned medalist honors with rounds of four under par 68.
Ian Faulconer (Simpsonville, SC) took the first alternate position after a round of 69. Zack Gordon (Gaffney, SC) secured the second alternate position after a two under par round of 70.
73 players started the event playing for three spots and two alternate positions for a chance to participate in the 2018 United States Junior Amateur Championship that will be conducted at Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, N.J. July 16 – July 21, 2018.
