Twenty-eight players shot a score of four over par 75 or better at Coosaw Creek Country Club (6,584 yards, Par 71, 72.3/137) in North Charleston, SC to qualify for the 91st SCGA Amateur Championship.
Rye Tifft (Blythewood) claimed the medalist honors after an impressive four under par round of 67.
This qualifier was the first of four qualifying events for the 2022 SCGA Amateur Championship. The second qualifier will be held at Willow Creek Golf Club in Greer, SC on June 30th, 2022.
The Amateur Championship will be played August 4-7, 2022 at The Dunes Golf & Beach Club in Myrtle Beach, SC.
