Final Match Set at SCGA Four-Ball Championship
Sunshine and blue skies greeted the eight teams that teed it up in the Quarterfinals Saturday morning in the 55th edition of the SCGA Four-Ball Championship being contested at Musgrove Mill Golf Club in Clinton, SC.
In the Quarterfinal matches, Daniel Coker (Hartsville) & Mitchell Vance (Hartsville) would defeat the midlands team of Cheney Connell (Blythewood) & Jon Mathias (Columbia) with a 1 Up Victory. Trevor Gerard (Hartsville) & Grant Sellers (McBee) defeated the team of Robert Dargan (Columbia) & David Dargan (Columbia) with a match result of 2 & 1. The two-time SCGA Four-Ball Champion team of Walt Todd, Jr. (Greenville) & Brandon Truesdale (Rock Hill) were victorious over the stroke play medalist team of Zach Herold (Lexington) & Sam Jackson (West Columbia) with a 1 Up win. The final match was won by David Gibson (Lexington) & Lee Gronkiewicz (Columbia) with a 2 & 1 victory over Chad Siefert (Greenville) & Colton Cale (Greenville).
In the afternoon Semifinal matches, Trevor Gerard and Grant Sellers would go on to defeat Daniel Coker and Mitchel Vance with a dominant 7 & 6 victory. Sellers also provided a hole-in-one on the 195-yard Par 3 – 7th Hole at Musgrove Mill. The final match of the semifinals was won by Walt Todd, Jr. & Brandon Truesdale by a 4 & 3 victory over David Gibson & Lee Gronkiewicz.
The final match featuring Gerard & Sellers versus Todd, Jr. & Truesdale will begin Sunday morning at 8:00 am off of the first tee.

The 2022 SCGA Four-Ball Championship is one of 21 major championships conducted by the South Carolina Golf Association. The event is being played on the 6,779 yard, par 72 golf course at Musgrove Mill Golf Club in Clinton, South Carolina.
