Two Teams Advance to 2023 U.S. Four-Ball Championship from Lexington Qualifier
The team of John Eades (Charlotte, NC) and Matt Schall (Matthews, NC) along with the team of Matthew Doyle (Summerville, SC) and Garrett Risner (Holly Springs, NC) have both qualified at The Country Club of Lexington (6,654, Par 72) in Lexington, SC to play in the 2023 US Amateur Four-Ball Championship. Eades and Schall were the qualifying medalists after a ten under par round of 62.
The team of Stuart Moore (Gainesville, GA) and David Denham (Athens, GA) will be the first alternates while the team of Jordan Sease (Columbia, SC) and Kyle Bearden (Barnwell, SC) will be the second alternate team after a one-hole playoff.
48 sides started the day playing for two spots and two alternate positions to participate in the 2023 United States Amateur Four-Ball Championship that will be conducted at the Kiawah Island Club (Cassique & River Course) in Kiawah Island, SC on May 20-24, 2023.
