Schroder Takes the Solo Lead After Round Two of the 65th Senior Championship
WOODRUFF, SC (May 10, 2023) – Second round results of the 65th SCGA Senior Championship, hosted by Three Pines Country Club in Woodruff, SC on Wednesday, May 10, 2023.

Ron Schroder of Seneca posted a second-round score of one-under par 71 to take the solo lead of the 65th SCGA Senior Championship. Overall, he is three-under par 141 for the tournament and holds a two-shot lead heading into the final round tomorrow.
Eddie Hargett of Blythewood sits in solo second, finishing the day with an overall score of one-under par 143.
Chris Koon of Simpsonville sits one-shot back from Hargett heading into tomorrow’s final round with an overall score of even-par 144.
The final round of the 65th Senior Championship will begin Thursday, May 11 at 8:00 AM off #2 and #10. 51 players will compete in the final round after making the cut at 158 or better.
The 2023 SCGA Senior Championship is being played on the par 72 - 6,359 yard course at Three Pines Country Club in Woodruff, SC. The starting field consisted of 92 players over the age of 55. The cut has been made to the low 50 and ties after 36 holes. The Senior Championship is one of 21 Major Championships conducted annually by the South Carolina Golf Association.
