Four Advance from Daniel Island Club to 2023 U.S. Junior Amateur
DANIEL ISLAND, SC - Alex Long of Lakewood Ranch, FL, Colin Salema of Matthews, NC, Rowan Sullivan of Charleston, SC, and Davis Neal of North Augusta, SC have all qualified at Daniel Island Club – Beresford Creek in Daniel Island, SC to advance to the 2023 US Junior Amateur at Daniel Island Club.
Alex Long took home medalist honors with a score of three-under par 69.
William Jennings of Greenville, SC birdied the first playoff hole to claim the first alternate spot and Garret Fader of Hilton Head, SC made par on the fifth playoff hole to claim the second alternate position.
81 players started the event playing for four spots and two alternates in order to advance to the 2023 United States Junior Amateur that will be conducted at Daniel Island Club in Daniel Island, SC, July 24-29, 2023.
