Nine Qualify at The Ponderosa to Advance to 92nd Amateur Championship
SALUDA COUNTY, SC (July 6, 2023) – Nine players shot a score of even par 72 or better at Ponderosa Country Club (6,649 yards, Par 72, 72.1/127) in Batesburg-Leesville, SC to qualify for the 92nd SCGA Amateur Championship.

Ben Goforth (Greenville), Levi Joiner (Prosperity), Lleyton Renner (Simpsonville), and Charlie Beiers (Lexington) claimed co-medalist honors after carding rounds of three under par 69.
This qualifier was the last of four qualifying events for the 2023 SCGA Amateur Championship.
The Amateur Championship will be played August 3-6, 2023, at Musgrove Mill Golf Club in Clinton, SC.
