2024 SCGA Super Senior Four-Ball Championship

The Legends at Parris Island

Parris Island, SC

May 15-16, 2024

 

First-round co-leaders  Charlie Hall  (Hilton Head) and  Mike Poe  (Hilton Head) followed up their opening round of 64 with an identical final round score of eight under par 64. The duo carded eight birdies matched with zero bogeys en route to a three-shot victory. Four teams finished three shots off the pace after thirty-six hole totals of 13 under par 131.

 

In the Legends Division,  Roger Page  (Duncan) and  Tim Pope  (Spartanburg) were victorious by three shots after posting a tournament total of 14 under par 130.
 

Finishing in solo second place was the team of  John Long  (Murrells Inlet) and  Dennis Helms  (North Myrtle Beach) with a score of 11 under par 133.  Warren Peper  (Charleston) and  Oren Wood  (Landrum) finished alone in third place at 10 under par 134.

 The 2024 SCGA Super Senior Four-Ball Championship was played at The Legends Golf Course at Parris Island which is located on Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island in Parris Island, SC. The starting field consisted of 48 teams split into two divisions. The Championship Division and Legends Division was flighted based on Round One scores. The Championship Division consisted of players ages of 65-69 and was played to a yardage of 5,681 yards while the Legends Division consisted of players ages 70 and over, and played to a yardage of 5,325 yards.
