ADAMS LEADS ROUND ONE OF THE 93RD SCGA AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP
CHARLESTON, SC (August 1, 2024) – First-round results of the 93rd SCGA Amateur Championship hosted by Country Club of Charleston in Charleston, SC on Thursday, August 1, 2024.

This morning with warm weather and sunny skies, the Country Club of Charleston welcomed 144 amateurs for the first round of the 93rd SCGA Amateur Championship.
2022 Amateur Champion, Zach Adams of Charleston finished the morning with a score of seven-under-par 64 to emerge as the round-one leader. Adams holds a two-shot lead heading into round-two tomorrow.
Chase Cline of Chapin sits in second place after carding a round of five-under-par 66 for his first round.
The second round of the 93rd SCGA Amateur Championship will begin Friday, August 2 at 8:00 AM with a double tee start.
