ADAMS MAINTAINS THE LEAD AT THE 93RD SCGA AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP
CHARLESTON, SC (August 2, 2024) – Second-round results of the 93rd SCGA Amateur Championship hosted by Country Club of Charleston in Charleston, SC on Friday, August 2, 2024.

After the completion of round two this evening, Zach Adams of Charleston remains the leader of the 93rd SCGA Amateur Championship. Adams carded an impressive second-round score of seven-under-par 64, to sit at an overall score of 14-under-par 128.
2024 SCGA Junior Champion, Chase Cline of Chapin sits three shots behind Adams, finishing the day with an overall score of 11-under-par 131.
Defending Champion, Todd White of Spartanburg and Matthew Doyle of Summerville each sit tied for third, posting overall scores of nine-under-par 133.
64 players made the cut at a total score of four-over-par 146 or better to advance to the final two rounds.
The third round of the 93rd SCGA Amateur Championship is set to begin at 8:00 A.M. off #1 and #10.
