Marter and Parrott Claim Players Four-Ball Championship Title

The team of Will Marter (West Columbia) and Jack Parrott (North Charleston) have claimed the 2024 SCGA Players Four-Ball Championship after following up their opening round 60 with a final round 65 for a tournament total of 14 under par 130. Marter & Parrott cruised to victory with a four-shot lead to finish the tournament.

The field was split into four flights for Sunday’s final round based on first-round scores (Championship, First, Second, Third). The team of Gregg Jones (Florence) and Michael Maness (Greenville) claimed top honors in the first flight at 11 under par 133. The duo of Donald Taylor (Columbia) and Andrew Davis (Columbia) won the second flight with an 8 under par 136. In the third flight, the pairing of David Dargan (Columbia) and Josh Goethe (Columbia) won with a 2 under par 142.

The 2024 SCGA Players Four-Ball Championship was played at the par 72 – 6,855 yard Columbia Country Club Ridgewood & Tall Pines courses. The field consisted of 60 two-man teams playing Best Ball format conducted over thirty-six holes. The Players Four-Ball Championship is in its 40th year of existence.
