Chris Eassy of Simpsonville was victorious at the fourth SCGA 40 Plus Series event of 2024, contested on Tuesday, October 15th, 2024, at Holly Tree Country Club, after a round of three under par 69. Eassy edged out Kurt Waldthausen (Simpsonville) after winning a scorecard playoff.

In the Tournament Net Division, Tim Schwab (Simpsonville) captured the win with a net score of 71.

In the Senior Gross Division, Yancey Johnson (Simpsonville) placed atop the leaderboard after a three under par round of 69.

In the Senior Net Division, Stephen McFerrin (Lexington) finished at the top with a net score of 64.

Robin Alley (Columbia) captured the Super Senior Gross Division with a one over par 73. Mike Reuwer (Simpsonville) finished second place with a two over par 74.

In the Super Senior Net Division, Rick Overyides (Greer) finished atop the leaderboard with a net score of 70.

The 40 Plus is a series of events conducted for golfers across South Carolina over the age of 40. The field consisted of 85 players playing Holly Tree Country Club in Simpsonville, SC. This event was the fourth 40 Plus event the SCGA has conducted in 2024. The fifth 40 Plus event will be at Savannah Lakes – Monticello Course on November 5th.
