Champions Crowned at Carolinas Net Amateur Championship

North Myrtle Beach, SC- Champions have been crowned at the 2024 Carolinas Net Amateur Championship, where warm temperatures provided a great two days of golf and camaraderie for 83 participants from all over the Carolinas.  

Shawn Whitmore (Myrtle Beach, SC) captured the Men’s Division after a final-round net score of 70 and a tournament total of 140. Mark DeBusk (Lexington, SC) won the Senior Men’s Division with a two-day net total of four under par 138. Stephen Nimocks (Murrells Inlet, SC) was victorious in the Super Senior Men’s Division with a tournament net total of even par 142.  

In the Women’s Division, Samantha Debusk (Lexington, SC) was victorious with a two-day net total of two under par 140.  Kristin Raciti (Pawleys Island, SC) captured the Senior Women’s Division title with a tournament net total of two over par 144. Bonnie Montgomery (Jamestown, NC) captured a wire-to-wire victory in the Super Senior Women’s Division with a tournament net total of two under par 140. 

The Carolinas Net Amateur Championship, hosted in collaboration with the Carolinas Golf Association, South Carolina Golf Association, and Women’s South Carolina Golf Association, comprised 36 holes of net stroke play using 100% of player’s course handicaps. Players were placed into flights within their division for the final round.
