Champions Crowned at the 32nd Partners Championship

Columbia, S.C. – A sharp drop in temperatures set the stage for the final round of the 32nd Annual SCGA Partners Championship, challenging players with much colder conditions than the day before. Despite the chilly weather, the competition remained intense as teams battled for the title at Spring Valley Country Club and The WildeWood Club.

Brent Blaum (Columbia) and Stewart Jolly (Columbia) have claimed the victory at the SCGA’s 32nd Annual Partners Championship after a commanding final round of 14 under par 58 and a total tournament score of 24 under par 120. Starting the final round wedged in a two-way tie, the midlands duo compiled two eagles, ten birdies, and six pars in a Modified Texas Scramble format to ultimately win the Partners Championship by five strokes over the team of Garland Ferrell (Greenville) and Michael Sims (Lexington). 

In the First Flight of the Championship Division, there was a three-way tie between the teams of Pierre De Caevel (Florence) & Jacob Morris (Charleston), Jordan Sease (Lexington) & Evan Phillips (West Columbia), and John Allen Meetze (Chapin) & Daniel Stanley (Inman), who all finished with tournament totals of 15 under par 129. 

In the Tournament Division, Gettys Glaze (Charleston) and Brian Lawler (Prosperity) captured the overall victory by one shot after a two-day total of 13 under par 131. The First Flight of the Tournament Division was captured by the team of Jeff Hines (Myrtle Beach) & Andrew Berks (Fort Mill) after carding a tournament total of 11 under par 133. The Second Flight of the Tournament Division was won by Jeff Ware (Greer) & Bill Bowers (Simpsonville) after a tournament score of six under par 138.  

The 2025 SCGA Partners Championship was played at both Spring Valley Country Club and WildeWood Country Club. The field consisted of 99 two-man teams playing Captains Choice in the first round and a Modified Texas Scramble in the final round. The Championship Division competed at WildeWood Country Club on day one and Spring Valley Country Club on day two, vice versa for the Tournament Division. The Partners Championship is in its 32nd  year of existence and is a fundraiser for the South Carolina Junior Golf Association.
