Liebler Captures Back-to-Back SCGA Senior Championship Title
After a rain consumed attempt to complete the final round of the 63rd Annual SCGA Senior Championship, the ultimate decision was made as water stood across multiple greens and weather continued to worsen, that the SCGA Senior Championship had come to a close.
Steve Liebler (Irmo) has been crowned the 2021 SCGA Senior Champion after an impressive two-day total of six under par 138. This win marks a back-to-back victory for Liebler, as he won the SCGA Senior Championship in 2020.
Finishing right behind Liebler alone in second place is the 2018 SCGA Senior Champion, Rich Weston (Pawleys Island), who finished just three shots back of the leader with a two-day total of 141.
Eddie Hargett (Blythewood) and Bob Edens (Columbia) finished in a two-way tie for third after each player completed their championship with under par totals of 143.
