Hendrick and Womack Claim Senior Four-Ball Victory After Playoff

Beginning their day trailing by four strokes, Joe Hendrick (Chesterfield) and Daran Womack (Aiken) needed a flawless final round of golf to overcome the first-round leaders of Stan Sill (Spartanburg) and Jeff Stephens (Ware Shoals).  Providing a final round score of 10 under par 62 with a clean scorecard of no bogeys, 10 birdies, and 8 pars proved just enough to propel the Hendrick & Womack duo into a playoff with the 2020 SCGA Senior Four-Ball Champion team of Sill & Stephens after Sill & Stephens finished with a final round 66 and tournament total of 14 under par 130. After a one hole sudden-death playoff, Hendrick would birdie to capture the 2021 SCGA Senior Four-Ball Championship at the Country Club of Spartanburg in Spartanburg, SC.

Finishing in second place was Stan Sill & Jeff Stephens, followed by a three-way tie for third place between the teams of John Dennis (Greenville) & Frank Wrenn (Greenville), Mark Pike (Inman) & Steve Teaster (Spartanburg), and the team of Eddie Hargett (Blythewood) & Walter Todd (Laurens) as each team finished with tournament totals of 12 under par 132.

In the First Flight, there was a three-way tie for first place between Pat Duncan (Greenville) & Patrick Maloney (Greenville), Richard Rebholz (Rock Hill) & Rob Wilson (Mt. Pleasant), and Tim Babb (Columbia) & Perrin Babb (Bishopville) after each team finished with tournament totals of 7 under par 137.  Ron Clontz (Greer) and Terry Willis (Greenville) took the top honors in the Second Flight with a score of 142.
