Coming into the 39^th Annual SCGA Lefty Righty Championship, Robert Dargan of Columbia had claimed 8 team championships with longtime partner, Brad Krapfel, as well as 9 individual Lefthanders Championships. This time around with brother, David as his partner, the results were not much different as years past. The Dargan brothers started off hot during the final round, recording a best ball score of six under par 30 on the front nine. The stellar play continued on the back nine as the Dargans played five under par on the final six holes, capping of an eleven under par round of 61 and a four shot victory over first round leaders, Scotty Davis and Jeremy Moore. This is Robert Dargan’s ninth victory in Lefty Righty competition. But would he claim his tenth Lefthanders Championship…? 

In Lefthanders competition, defending champion Dargan made a run, but was denied his tenth championship by first round leader, and fellow past champion, Brent Roof of Columbia. Roof followed up his first round 68 with a steady one under par 71, for a two day total of five under par 139. Anthony Gabriele of Charleston finished just two shots back at 141.  

In Senior Lefty Righty competition, Mike Daniels and John Long of Murrells Inlet extended their lead with a final round of two under par 70, for a two day total of seven under 137, claiming the Senior Lefty Righty Championship by four shots over the teams of Greg Hooks / Bob Edens and Jon Evans / Rick Dresel.  

In Senior Lefthanders competition, Jon Evans (Hollywood) claimed top prize with a two day total of eight over par 152, after Bob Cibulsky of Bluffton was not available for a sudden death playoff. Cibulsky came roaring back from six shots behind, shooting a final round one under par 71.  

The 2015 SCGA Lefty Righty / Lefthanders Championship is one of 21 major championships conducted by the South Carolina Golf Association. The 39th Annual event was played on the 6,375 yard, par 72 golf course at Lake Marion Golf Club in Santee, SC.
