Despite heading into the final round trailing the first round leaders by a four-shot deficit, the team of Tom Eberhard (Johns Island) & Bob Edens (Columbia) would provide a stellar final round of 10 under par 62 to ultimately claim the 2022 SCGA Super Senior Four-Ball Championship with a 15 under par 129.
Finishing one shot off the lead was the team of Charlie Hall (Bluffton) and Gary Odom (Greenwood) as the duo finished with a final round score of 66 and tournament total of 14 under par 130. The team of Glenn Kollar (Bluffton) and Tim Stone (Bluffton) finished alone in third place with a two day total of 131.
In the Legends Division, Larry Landis (Hilton Head) and Steve Murphy (Hilton Head) were victorious by one shot after posting a tournament total of 12 under par 132. Finishing in solo second place was the team of Gene Spencer (Blythewood) and Jim Wise (Columbia) with a score of 11 under par 133. First round leaders Dennis Adkins (N. Myrtle Beach) and Rich Obrien (N. Myrtle Beach) would finish in third place with a tournament total of 134.

The 2022 SCGA Super Senior Four-Ball Championship was played at The Legends Golf Course at Parris Island which is located on Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island in Parris Island, SC. The starting field consisted of 41 teams split into two divisions. The Championship Division and Legends Division was flighted based on Round One scores. The Championship Division consisted of players ages of 65-69, and was played to a yardage of 5,681 yards while the Legends Division consisted of players ages 70 and over, and played to a yardage of 5,325 yards. The format for the two days of competition was Four-Ball Stroke Play.
